The Agriculture Machinery and Technology Centre (AMTC) in Paro is mandated to advance farm mechanization through innovation, adoption, and adaptation. Our core mission is to ensure that safe, efficient, and high-quality technologies are accessible to end-users across Bhutan, regardless of the supplier. In alignment with this mandate, the AMTC was tasked with the design and oversight of 15 Mega Greenhouses (100 mร24 m), as well as leading the implementation of smart farming technologies at Chirub Farms.
We are pleased to report that Farm Machinery Corporation Limited has successfully completed the fabrication and installation of these 15 units of Mega Greenhouse under Chirup Farms project awarded by the Department of Agriculture, Royal Government of Bhutan. This milestone includes the successful deployment of 10 units of Mega Greenhouse at Pemathang and 5 units of Mega Greenhouse at Samrang under Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag.
